Sophia (she/her) is a licensed acupuncturist at Venn Acupuncture. Fluent in English and Spanish, she has a passion for treating orthopedic pain conditions as well as a variety of internal medicine conditions. She interned at the University of California Berkeley Athletic Department, treating both Olympic and collegiate athletes, and volunteered at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, providing care to underserved women with cancer. Her goal with every patient is to ensure they feel heard, supported, and cared for throughout their healing process.

Sophia has a Master’s in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) in Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University. She completed a two-year apprenticeship with Claudia Venn, where she developed a strong foundation in both the technical skills and the patient-centered approach that guide her practice today.
